Thirteen new electric buses will be out and about on Surrey’s roads this spring. The new, fully accessible, electric vehicles offer a smooth, quiet ride and include free Wi-Fi, charging points, two wheelchair and pushchair bays, improved lighting and on-board information screens.

19,000 young people aged 20 and under are now benefitting from half price bus journeys across Surrey.
Following a successful bid for funding to the Department for Transport, Surrey County Council has been awarded an additional £1.7m for 12 new zero-emission buses. This follows a previous allocation in 2024, taking Surrey’s total provision to over £5 million and 31 new buses in total.
