VROOM VROOM! THE BRITISH MOTOR SHOW
The countdown is ON! The British Motor Show 2025 is racing towards us, and it’s shaping up to be the wildest, loudest, most hands-on automotive event in the UK. Whether you’re a petrolhead, a tech geek, a family on the hunt for fun, or just someone who loves an unforgettable day out—this is the one show you can’t miss this year.
With so much to see, we asked the man behind creating the show what 10 things he is looking forward to; after all, if anyone knows what you can’t miss, he is the man.
According to Andy Entwistle, here are the Top 10 things you absolutely cannot miss at this year’s show. Trust us—you’ll want to be able to say, “I was there.”
“We’ve really pushed the boat out this year for new content, while making sure that firm favourites from previous years are back. It’s not easy to single out just ten things, with The UK Wrap Championships, Alpine F1 esport sims, the amazing Supercar Paddock and more. In honesty, everyone will have their own MUST SEE list, but if I only had one day, then I’d start with the following….”
1. The Cars
The Motor Show still has new cars at its heart and I love wandering the halls and seeing the latest new cars. I’m always unexpectedly impressed by a couple of cars each year and I love putting the latest cars in front of out visitors. Last year the new car of the show for me was the exclusive reveal of the Renault 5, which is now winning awards everywhere. This year will be no exception and we have some great new models for visitors to check out AND test drive.
2. The Strongman Truck Pulling World Championship.
It took a lot of work to get this over the line and I think it’s absolutely unmissable—Who doesn’t want to watch the world’s strongest men battle it out by dragging a 28-tonne Renault Truck across the Cazoo Live Arena
3. Everything LEGO
I am so pleased with this new partnership for 2025. I’m a huge LEGO fan so may be biased, but I can’t wait to see their full-size Mclaren P1 on display and sneak into the LEGO Big Build Competition on the live stage. they’re also going to have a huge LEGO retail outlet with us and more building on their stand.
4. Back to the 80’s Display
This might have something to do with my age, but I grew up driving 80’s cars and I love the decade. We’ve managed to bring together an amazing display of iconic 80’s cars, including a few Movie cars and the most iconic cars from your (or more likely your mum and dads) childhood, in The Bridgestone Arena.
5. Team Max Lock Stunt Show
These guys went down a storm last year and are one of the best stunt display teams I’ve ever seen, so we had to have them back. With an all-new show in 2025 they have promised to be louder, faster, and more crazy and I can’t wait to see what they will be bringing to The Cazoo Live Arena.
6. Celebrity Strictly Car Dancing
Those that have been to the show every year know we always try to do something a bit off the wall; in the past we’ve had car football and the “carlympics”. This year we’re bringing you Strictly Cars Dancing. It’s ballroom meets burnouts as celebrities team up with pro stunt drivers for a live choreographed car-dancing routine set to music. These sessions are always great for crowd interaction, with people cheering on the favourite celeb and secretly hoping someone is going to mess up!
7. The British Army Parachute Display
At noon every day you will absolutely be guaranteed to find me by the live arena watching the parachute team. It never gets dull and every year they do something different. It’s not every day you get this close to a parachute display team and The British Motor Show wouldn’t be the same without our daily parachute display.
8. The Nation Radio Live Music Stage
This year we’ve really stepped up the acts on the Live Music Stage, a lot of my friends really enjoyed this part of the show last year, which inspired me to find an even wider selection of great cover bands and a few up-and-coming stars. The whole lineup up is amazing this year, from country to rock cover bands and more, the stand out band for me is on at 13:00 on Sunday; I’ll absolutely be heading down to watch the OGRETONES, the UK’S only Shrek-based cover band…
9. Marketplace Traders
I’m a sucker for picking up any auto-related or branded gadgets, clothes, and “stuff”. So, I always spend at least a couple of hours checking out all the exhibitors we have in Hall 1 and Hall 5. It’s a great opportunity for me to top up on my car cleaning stuff, maybe a Gulf branded polo top or one of the more unusual pieces for the garage or man cave. It’s the kind of thing you only find at car shows, and we have loads of it.
10. The Racing Bug
Brought to you by Bridgestone and Kwik Fit, this is something you absolutely have to try. Located by The Bridgestone Arena, the Racing Bug is a scaled-down track with remote control cars, driven from a full on racing seat on a podium. Race against other visitors or even a celeb or two, it’s great fun and worth challenging you friends and family to see who can set the quickest lap.
FOMO Is Real. Don’t Miss Out.
