This hands-on experience aims to demonstrate the accessibility of foraging to everyone, emphasising the delicate balance required to showcase the fantastic and often complex flavours within our native landscape.

MISO WORKSHOP / MAY 11 / SUTTON PLACE, ABINGER HAMMER
Head for Sutton Place and join the fine folk at HINOKI for a miso workshop from fermentation expert Naoko from Koji Works (@japanese_ferments) to us to teach us about miso. Learn about the history of miso, its importance to Japanese culture, as well as learning to distinguish good quality miso, how this fermented soy benefits your health, especially your gut, the function of koji, and taste 3-4 different types of miso. Enjoy a demonstrate about different ways of cooking with miso, and not just miso soup, though Naoko will teach you to make the tastiest miso soup too!
