WALLACE & GROMIT MODEL-MAKING WORKSHOPS RETURN TO WOKING
Aardman Animations bring a unique addition to Nova Cinema’s Autumn half-term programme. This November, Nova Cinema will welcome back the world-renowned Aardman Animations to Woking for a weekend of hands-on model-making workshops, running across Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November.
Led by a professional Aardman animator with experience across the studio’s much-loved films and TV shows – including the multi award-winning Wallace & Gromit – the sessions will guide participants in creating their very own clay models with the chance to make Shaun the Sheep on Saturday 1st and Gromit on Sunday 2nd. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions and gain insights from the animator’s career at Aardman.
Tickets are £15 per person and include the opportunity to take home your creation — making this a perfect family-friendly activity for budding animators and creatives. Visitors can also enhance the experience with special screenings of Wallace & Gromit favourites The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave, showing at Nova Cinema for just £6 per ticket.
Aardman’s story has a special connection to Woking: founders David Sproxton and Peter Lord first met in the town during the 1960s while at school, sparking the creative partnership that grew into a globally recognised, Oscar-winning studio.
Welcoming Aardman back to Woking is a true full-circle moment — one that celebrates their remarkable journey and, we hope, inspires the next generation of storytellers, filmmakers, and animators.
Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd November.
Model-Making sessions will be £15 a ticket at 1:00pm, 2:30pm & 4:00pm across both dates.
Wallace & Gromit screenings will be £6 a ticket at 1:00pm, 2:30pm & 4:00pm across both dates
