Christopher Awdry presents 85 Years of Letting off Steam

A truly unmissable, one-night-only celebration of The Railway Series, the beloved books that introduced the world to Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends, this special event sees Christopher Awdry make his first public appearance in 17 years. As the son of Wilbert Awdry, Christopher helped shape the stories that became a global phenomenon, delighting generations of families.
Hosted by Pete Waterman, he’s joined by key figures from the world of Thomas & Friends, including Mike O’Donnell (original composer), Clive Spong (Railway Series artist) and Mark Moraghan (Voice of the series). With rare insights, never-before-seen material and plenty of nostalgia, this is a unique chance to step inside the stories behind Thomas and celebrate a true cornerstone of children’s literature.

Be Like Blippi
5th-23rd August @ The Arts at Marble Arch, London
Blippi bursts onto the stage in a vibrant, interactive live show designed especially for children aged 2–7. Joined by his friend Meekah, he leads a high-energy adventure packed with music, dancing and discovery. Featuring fan-favourite songs like “The Excavator Song”, “Monster Truck”, and “Dino Dance”, the show encourages kids to sing, move and explore. With colourful staging, playful learning and plenty of audience interaction, families can expect a joyful, curiosity-fuelled experience that brings Blippi’s world to life in an exciting and engaging way.
For the London run, Clayton Grimm appears in the role of Blippi, offering fans a rare chance to see him live.
