drive-in cinema comes to west horsley place this October
Fans of the hit BBC comedy will have the unique opportunity to watch the eagerly anticipated feature-length film on a 40ft screen at the very location where the much-loved series and movie were filmed, ahead of its general release in cinemas on 23 October.
Ilona Harris, Director of West Horsley Place, said: “West Horsley Place and Ghosts have shared an extraordinary journey, so being able to welcome fans to watch the new film here at the real Button House is incredibly special.
“There is something wonderfully fitting about watching a new Button House adventure with the house itself as the backdrop. We know how much the location means to Ghosts fans, and we’re delighted to give them the chance to experience it in such a memorable way.”
Gates will open at 5.30pm, giving visitors the chance to step inside the 600-year-old manor house and explore its filming locations, alongside never-before-seen props from the new film. Mocktails and cocktails will be available from Coc Soc (The Cocktail Society), as well as an array of food and refreshments, before visitors return to their cars for the 8pm screening.
Tickets are £150 per car, with a maximum of four people per vehicle, making this the perfect experience to share with family and friends.
Ghosts: The Possession of Button House

West Horsley Place has been the home of Button House throughout the BBC series, making it an integral part of the world of Ghosts and one of the show’s most recognisable locations.
The Manor House, known as Button House, has a remarkable real-life history with links to King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I, Sir Walter Raleigh, Guy Fawkes, Ian Fleming and many more fascinating characters.
