CHALLENGERS MOTORING EVENT RETURNS THIS SEPTEMBER
Back by popular demand, Challengers are delighted to host a very special 11th anniversary Motoring Event on Sunday 28 September. A wonderful day for all car or motorbike enthusiasts – whether you own your own unique motor or simply wish to come along to experience an exceptional private collection – they’d love to see you there!
For those who own a vintage, classic, specialist, super or electric car or motorbike, we are delighted to be starting our day at Porsche Centre Guildford – a newly redeveloped Destination Porsche Centre that boasts dedicated Owner Collection rooms, a glass-partitioned view into the workshop from the showroom and a dedicated children’s area, creating an inclusive and engaging space for Porsche owners and enthusiasts alike.
After enjoying a breakfast roll and hot drink, included in your ticket courtesy of Porsche Centre Guildford, drivers will set off around 10.30am, navigating a bespoke route through the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside using our printed guide with refreshment stops identified along the way. The drive culminates at an incredibly special, private motor museum where you are invited for an exclusive viewing – an experience not generally open to the public.
No car (or bike), no problem – we are also selling tickets separately to visit the exclusive private motor museum situated at the end of the route. Housing some of the world’s most iconic cars, this stunning collection has over 60 vehicles and endless motoring memorabilia including a Lagonda V12 Le Mans, one of only two that competed at the 1939 Le Mans 24 Hours, and a Mercedes 300 SL, which was featured in Classic Motor & Sports Car magazine. Many of these cars are still raced at major international historic races such as Goodwood and Le Mans.
Guests will have the opportunity to browse the collection and hear from the generous owners of the museum. Challengers want to thank Robert and Tanya Lewis for their exceptional support over the last 11 years, hosting one of our favourite events in the calendar and opening their doors to our guests for this brilliant day.
The museum is situated in Churt (near Farnham) and will open from 12.30pm for guests. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy at the museum, while there will also be food available to purchase on the day.
All proceeds from the event go toward supporting Challengers and providing inclusive, fun, and safe spaces across the South East where disabled children aged 2–18 can come together to make friends, enjoy new experiences and learn valuable life skills. Challengers’ unique non-exclusion policy ensures that no child is turned away, regardless of the complexity of their needs or financial situation.
Tickets for the Challengers Motoring Event 2025 are available now. An experience not to be missed, with all proceeds from this event going to supporting a great cause.
