LAND & NEW HOMES – NICK EATON JOINS HOUSE.PARTERSHIP
Thinking about buying land? Want to explore new homes opportunities? Bringing 25 years’ experience to the firm’s land and new homes business, estate agent Nick Eaton has joined house. Partnership.
house. Partnership was founded ten years ago by former Savills Directors Andrew Giller and David Carter to sell country properties in Surrey and Sussex. Their vision was to offer unrivalled professional service and innovative marketing, working from an office instead of a high street branch with high overheads.
“By stripping out large central costs, we believed we could offer our clients a better service where the person you meet is the person you deal with and be more profitable as a business,” said Giller. “We also realised that we could do so much more online, not only selling houses but also the lifestyle they enable.”
Today, the team has swelled to 28, with a head office in Cranleigh, Surrey, and offices or “pods” in Clapham, Wimbledon, Cobham, Guildford, Hampshire and Sussex, and with 22 Partners covering a substantial area from Central and South West London right down to the South Coast, incorporating Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.
The agency has become known for using professional video with actors, drone footage and sumptuous photography to not only showcase the homes it sells in the best possible light but also give potential purchasers a sense of how it feels to live in them. It does not operate as a franchise; rather Partners who are highly experienced at a senior level in the estate agency sector are invited to join.
“The experienced Partner you meet is the person you’ll deal with throughout your entire sale or purchase.”
house. Partnership is delighted to welcome Nick Eaton to their Land and New Homes business. Nick brings over 25 years of experience in the property industry to his role as Land and New Homes Partner at house. Partnership. He began his career as a junior sales negotiator in Farnham, Surrey, before swiftly rising through the ranks.
Over the years, Nick has worked with a number of respected independent agencies and start-ups before launching his own estate agency with Seymours in 2006, in Godalming, Surrey. His expertise in residential sales and development consultancy led him to successfully operate multiple branches across Surrey and Hampshire, guiding a wide range of developers through various stages of the property cycle.
Nick transitioned into property development in 2014, delivering close to 100 new homes across a variety of sectors, from mixed-use city centre schemes to individual waterfront properties on the coast. This has provided him with invaluable experience in land acquisition, planning, project delivery and new home sales. At house. Partnership, he now focuses on helping developers source and maximise opportunities, offering strategic advice, pricing, planning guidance and bringing new homes to market. Nick’s deep understanding of both agency and development ensures a well-rounded, results-driven approach to every project.
Giller added: “Most agencies these days are target-driven, so there’s little cooperation between offices. Our approach is totally different: we’re collaborative and very old school in the way the partnership works: we refer business between our Partners, everyone knows what’s going on throughout the business, and it’s all for the benefit of our clients.
“Also, the experienced Partner you meet is the person you’ll deal with throughout your entire sale or purchase, unlike other agencies where you’ll deal with different people in a branch office.”
