PAUSE. NOTICE. CONNECT AT PAINSHILL PARK THIS SUMMER
An invitation to slow down, awaken your senses, and reconnect with nature when you visit Painshill this summer. Launching on 18 July (until 1 September), Pause. Notice. Connect. is a season of special events and mindful moments at the exquisite Grade I listed 18th-century landscape garden located in Cobham, Surrey.
Designed by Charles Hamilton (1704-1786) as a series of vistas to be experienced slowly – and to evoke the emotions of 18th-century visitors – Painshill was lovingly built over more than 40 years. Hamilton intended his masterpiece to be felt, as much as seen.
This summer, Painshill will once again invite visitors to take their time, to notice the details they might ordinarily miss and to feel nature’s wonder.
THINGS TO DO AT PAINSHILL THIS SUMMER
From sensory walks to a sound bath in the famous Crystal Grotto – plus a special twilight wine tasting tour – the summer events programme provides visitors with opportunities to connect with Painshill in new ways and to take time to connect with each other.
There’s also a packed programme for families, who can follow the Wonder Seekers Trail to find Pause Points across the landscape with fun, sensory prompts to notice moments in nature that are often overlooked. Plus, Young Explorer sessions, where children can step into nature and discover meadow life, map-making, wild art, woodland habitats and more.

Painshill is pleased to be taking part in the Great British Summer Savings initiative so that visitors to Painshill can enjoy a reduction on all admission tickets when visiting between 25 June and 1 September.
